A phase-based distributed acoustic sensing platform that turns a standard optical fiber into a continuous acoustic and vibration sensor, sold in three model series aimed at different infrastructure types.
CEL describes the system as a true phase-based DAS providing linear measurement of strain changes generated by acoustic and vibration signals along the sensing fiber, achieved without optical amplification. Proprietary deep-learning algorithms classify detected acoustic patterns to reduce false and nuisance alarms. The range is quoted at 100 km with two simultaneous channels, and single and simultaneous two-channel versions are offered. The three model series map to different applications: LCM-5125 to power cable, pipeline leakage and perimeter monitoring, LCM-5225 adding geo/hydrological and railway monitoring, and LCM-5226 covering well and reservoir monitoring.
