A benchtop aligner with a built-in camera and screen that sets the rotational orientation of structured fibers such as hollow core, multi-core and PM fiber before splicing.

Fibers with internal structure must be rotationally aligned to each other before splicing, or cores and stress elements will not meet. The FRA-250 holds the fiber in a common holder, images its end structure through a high-resolution camera, and shows the live orientation on a large integral screen so the operator can rotate to the correct angle over a +/- 42 degree range. Optical zoom ranges from a 590 x 450 um field of view down to 165 x 165 um, giving 0.23 um pixel resolution at maximum zoom. It is customisable for different fiber holders, fiber types and fiber sizes.

Chromatic dispersion measurement system for optical fiber and cable manufacturing. Uses a temperature-stabilised solid-state monochromator with DSP-based detection.

Fiber curl measurement system that measures the natural, relaxed-state curl of an optical fiber using a self-referencing dual-beam laser method.
A 2U rack-mount controller that interrogates networks of FiberStrike fiber optic tamper switches and converts each switch state into a dry relay contact output. Intended for access-point security monitoring at manholes, hatchways and vaults.
Our application engineers will confirm specifications with the manufacturer and quote for your configuration.
